Welcome to YWAM's Student Mobilization Centre (SMC)
Kenya's capital city Nairobi is the fastest growing city in the Great Lake region and many international and local organizations are based here. Urbanization is high and the number of learning instituions doubled during the last few years.

One of the many challenges facing Nairobi city is modernization. Nairobi wants to look like a true global city, create jobs, and attract and support businesses and investment, both within the Central/East African region and within the world's economy. Our roads are conjested and often in desperate need of repair and the gap between the affluent and the poor is forever widening.

60% of Kenya's population are below 25 years of age. We have seven public universities and a number of private and religious universities, plus hundreds of colleges. The college attending youth are between the ages of 17 to 27 years. Also the working classes are enrolling for higher education in the evenings.
Nairobi has much to offer, also in terms of tourist attractions, i.e. beautiful scenery, a national game park, a museum, traditional crafts and dances (bomas), etc. ...
Come and see for yourself.
