Thursday 21 May 2009 The Global Leadership Team for some years has enjoyed the support of a Prayer Shield at the times of their meetings. For the past two years the Africa Leaders have also been joined by a prayer group, that has maintained prayer throughout the week of their annual meetings. During this week four women have been spending many hours in prayer for the leaders – for them to enjoy the leading of God in all their decisions, with His insight and discernment and much wisdom. Jane Rhoades and Kate Muammar of the Field Service Team have been joined by Sahondra and Carolyn who are both part of the prayer team for the southern region. As well as praying, the group have been discussing the possibility of seeing a permanent prayer network formed to support the work of YWAM in Africa.
