Hand Cycle Challenge: Partner with The Word For The World to raise money for Bible Translation

Barry Funnell is raising £100,000 for The Word For The World In August, Barry Funnell, a 48 years old paraplegic, will be handcycling from Lands End to John O'Groats (1000 miles /1600 km!!!) through the entire length of the UK to raise funds for Bible Translation and Literacy projects in Africa, India and Eastern Europe. He is also raising funds for the printing of the Sena Bible in Malawi, which he and his wife were translating when their adopted child was kidnapped. 	You can sponsor Barry Funnel and make a difference 1 cent per mile can pay two literacy teachers for 1 month or purchase 20 literacy primers!! £1 per mile can sponsor 1 Bible translator's annual income or buy 200 Sena Bibles for free distribution in Malawi. 1.5 pence per mile (i.e. £15) can pay for one verse of the Bible to be translated in an unreached language.
